Compact Entry into Professional Rice Sorting
A straightforward machine built around a simple idea: bring serious sorting technology within reach of smaller mills.
The Hawit HWT-GR4 processes 2 to 2.5 tons per hour and handles the common rice varieties — Basmati, Parboiled, and Raw — without demanding a large footprint or a large team to operate it.
A Toshiba 5400-pixel full-color CCD camera sits at the center of the optical system. For the ejectors, the choice is yours: Hawit, SMC from Japan, or Matrix from Italy.
Behind the day-to-day operation is a sorting engine tuned to deliver high resolution and an excellent rejection ratio. Three practical tools keep things running smoothly:
Photo capture gives you a visual record of what passed through the machine.
Online capacity calculation shows real‑time throughput on the display — no external weighing needed.
Mobile operation puts the control panel on your phone, so you can check sorting status or receive alerts from anywhere in the mill.
Imaging that leaves little to chance.
The Toshiba 5400-pixel HD CCD scans grain 16,000 times per second. It picks out defects down to 0.04 mm² — a black speck, a chalky kernel, a grain that is just slightly off-color. The RGB full-color tri-chromatic system captures these differences with enough clarity that the machine can act on them without hesitation.
Processing that does not bottleneck.
The ARM+FPGA architecture runs color analysis and shape recognition at the same time, so the sorter does not slow down as feed rates increase. The one-key intelligent operation system lets you set the rejection criteria once; the machine then works out the optimal sorting scheme across all 252 channels and applies it automatically.
Lighting that adapts to what is in front of it.
Advanced digital stepless dimming controls the LED array. The brightness adjusts on its own — if the ambient light changes or a different rice variety comes through, the system recalibrates. This keeps the image signal clean and the identification consistent.
A self-check that buys you time.
At startup, the system runs through the camera, control panel, and background board on its own. If something is not right, you know before production begins. No manual checklist, no guesswork.
Ejectors that do their job quietly.
The high-frequency ejector system is designed for extended service life and low air draw. This matters because it keeps the cost of compressed air down and reduces the frequency of maintenance stops. The valve block is factory-matched regardless of which brand you select.
Chutes that work independently.
The feeding system keeps each of the 4 chutes separate. This means you can group channels or run them independently, depending on what the incoming rice looks like. It is a simple way to manage rejection rates and air consumption without adding complexity.
Remote access that shortens the distance to support.
The Hawit cloud platform connects the machine to real-time monitoring and data collection. Remote operation is possible, as are over-the-air software upgrades. If something needs attention — a lamp, an electronic component, a mechanical adjustment — diagnosis can start from anywhere.

24 Hours on line Guide from manufacture
How do I know this is not just a trading company selling someone else's machine?
We manufacture our own equipment. The factory is ours, and so is the quality control that goes with it.
What happens if the software needs updating after a few years?
Software upgrades are free for the life of the machine. Our R&D team has been working on optical sorting algorithms for over 15 years, and they continue to refine them.
If I need someone to come and set the machine up, can that be arranged?
Yes. We send engineers to end-user sites for installation and training. This is part of the after-sales service we offer.
Can I test the machine with my own rice before committing?
Absolutely. Send us a sample, and we will run it through a machine. You will receive a working video so you can see the sorting result with your own eyes.
