Hawit S-Model Rice Color Sorter With 6 Chutes 378 Channels

Model HWT-SR6(6 Chutes · 378 Channels)

Refined Sorting for the Medium-Scale Mill

A versatile workhorse built for steady, high-quality output.
The Hawit HWT-SR6 is a 6-chute rice color sorter that comfortably processes 3 to 4 tons per hour (at approximately 3%–5% contamination).

It is designed to handle all common rice varieties — Basmati, Parboiled, and Raw rice — and brings with it a sophisticated optical system that excels at removing both typical defects and the more stubborn contaminants.

Chief among these is glass, a persistent challenge in many mills, which the SR6 tackles with a dedicated 350mm sorting distance and specialized algorithms.

The machine comes fully equipped with a Toshiba 5400-pixel full-color CCD camera, and you can select the ejector brand that best fits your maintenance setup: Hawit, SMC (Japan), or Matrix (Italy).

A generous 15-inch true-color touchscreen, photo capture for quality records, shape sorting, reverse sorting, and the ability for the manufacturer to perform remote operations and troubleshooting are all part of the standard package.

1. What goes into achieving 99.9% accuracy

A camera that defines the benchmark.
At the heart of the SR6 is a Toshiba 5400-pixel full-color CCD. It scans at a rapid 16,000 times per second, identifying defects as minuscule as 0.01 mm². The RGB tri-chromatic acquisition system captures color with such fidelity that a pale yellow grain or a tiny black speck stands out instantly, triggering a precise ejection response.

Intelligent processing without bottlenecks.
The machine runs on a DSP+FPGA platform, the same class of processing architecture used in the most demanding sorting applications. It simultaneously executes color and shape algorithms, giving you true “color selection + shape selection” in a single pass. The one-key intelligent operation system lets you set the parameters for what constitutes a reject, and the machine automatically applies the optimal sorting scheme across all 378 channels. Switching between rice types is a matter of recalling a saved setting.

A lighting system that thinks for itself.
The unique cold shadowless LED source provides consistent illumination without hot spots. Advanced digital stepless dimming allows the lights to automatically adjust their intensity based on the material being processed and the ambient environment, ensuring the camera always sees a perfectly lit product.

Cleanliness and cooling, engineered in.
Precision dust collection is built directly into the sorting chamber. By actively removing dust and debris from the optical path, it keeps the identification accuracy high from the first batch to the last. An efficient heat dissipation system keeps all internal electronics running at room temperature, preserving a superior signal-to-noise ratio and extending the overall lifespan of the machine.

Ejectors that last the distance.
The professional high-frequency ejectors are rated for 5 to 10 billion cycles and are remarkably air-efficient. This not only lowers operating costs but also enables an impressive 50:1 rejection ratio, meaning you lose very little good product. The mechanical structure and tri-chromatic control system work in concert to guarantee 99.999% accuracy at the ejection point.

Model: HWT-SR4For the Small Mill That Refuses to Compromise You do not need a massive production line to demand top-tier sorting. The Hawit S4 is a compact, entry-level rice sorter that brings the same core technology found in our largest machines into a footprint that fits smaller mills and start-up operations. Designed to handle Basmati, Parboiled, and Raw rice at around 2 tons per hour, it proves that small capacity does not have to mean basic performance. What truly sets this model apart is its ability to tackle a problem that plagues many small mills: glass contamination. With a specialized 350mm glass sorting distance and dedicated algorithms, it identifies and removes glass fragments that ordinary sorters miss, protecting your brand and your customers. Add to that standard features like photo capture, shape sorting, reverse sorting, and remote operation — all managed through a crisp 15-inch display — and you have a machine that punches well above its weight.
